Rental Age and Driver's License:
Only the person(s) specified on the contract can use the rented vehicle. Damage assurance is not valid in case of accident or damage that may occur if third parties not specified in the contract use the vehicle. Additional driver service should be purchased for people who will drive the vehicle other than the tenant. Person(s) who will drive the vehicle must be at least 23 years old and have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years for economic and medium segment vehicles; For luxury segment vehicles, they must be at least 25 years old and have a valid driver's license for at least 5 years. At the signing stage of the rental agreement, it is obligatory to show the valid driver's license document, the driver's license documents of the persons who come with a foreign driver's license document, as well as the part of their passport showing their entry into Turkey,
Additional Driver:
The use of vehicles by third parties is only possible if the license and identity information of the additional driver(s) are included in the rental agreement, following the approval of the EFCAR official. Adding an additional driver to the contract and including it in the insurance coverage is subject to an additional fee. You can call our reservation center for price information.
Payment methods:
Payments are made with credit cards approved by EFCAR. The credit card to be paid must belong to the tenant and must be presented to the EFCAR representative during the rental. At the beginning of the rental, a pre-authorization blockage is applied in amounts that vary according to the vehicle group. Differences that may occur at the end of the rental will be charged to the same credit card. After the differences that may occur at the end of the rental are collected, the remaining provision amount is refunded between 7 and 10 working days (unless there is another delay due to the bank).
Rental Period :
The rental period is at least 1 day, ie 24 hours for daily rentals, and 30 days for monthly rentals.
Vehicle Delivery to the Address and/or Pickup from the Address:
Vehicle delivery to the desired address or vehicle pick-up service from the desired address is subject to an additional fee. You can get information from our reservation center as the surcharge varies according to the distance.
One Way Rental:
Returning the vehicle from the rental city to a different city where the EFCAR office is located is subject to EFCAR approval and additional charges. You can get information by calling our reservation center as the amount of the additional fee varies according to the region/office.
Delivery Delay / Extension:
Extension of the predetermined rental period is subject to EFCAR approval. Total rental period (number of days) is calculated over 24-hour periods and additional day fee is calculated for delays exceeding 30 minutes.
Traffic Fines:
Penalties for all kinds of traffic offenses that may occur during the rental are the responsibility of the tenant. The tenant's obligations in this regard do not disappear with the end of the lease. Traffic fines that we receive after the end of the rental are collected from the person or company whose name is mentioned in the relevant rental. The traffic fines paid by EFCAR instead of the customer are collected from the customer by adding the service fee.
Exit Abroad:
It is not possible to leave the borders of Türkiye with the rented vehicles.
Fuel:
Vehicles are delivered to the tenant with a full tank (8/8). The lessee must also deliver the vehicle with a full tank. Otherwise, the missing fuel fee will be collected from the tenant by adding the service fee.

Cancellation or Change of Reservation:
You can make changes in your reservation, add or remove additional products within the scope of availability and confirmation. These changes may cause price differences. By confirming the change, you accept the price difference.
If the prepaid reservation is canceled less than 24 hours before the rental date, the rental fee will not be refunded if the vehicle is not picked up within 3 hours from the purchase time (No Show) without cancellation.
Early Termination or Extension of Rental:
If the vehicle is returned before the time specified at the beginning of the rental, the total rental fee is recalculated according to the number of days the vehicle was used, and if there is a refund amount, a refund will be made to the credit card from which the payment was made.
Any request to return the vehicle at a later date than specified at the start of the rental is subject to EFCAR approval, primarily subject to vehicle availability. The additional fee amount is recalculated according to the total rental day and is collected as an additional collection from the credit card paid.
Damage and Theft Guarantees:
The guarantees included in the rental fees vary according to the campaigns and tariffs. You can purchase the assurances that are not included in your reservation for an additional fee during your rental process. The following descriptions of assurance scopes and additional assurances are general and informative, and EFCAR reserves the right to change this information at any time.
Mini Damage Assurance : It ensures that the renter is exempt from the damage caused to the rented vehicle in the case of unilateral accidents where there is no accident report while parked and / or while driving, up to the upper limit amount. The tenant is responsible for damages exceeding the upper limit. The upper limit (its scope varies according to the assurance package received) is 2,750,00 TL (VAT INCLUDED). For tire-glass-headlight-mirror damages, the lessee has the right to benefit for one damage to the rented vehicle during the rental period.
Midi Damage Assurance : It ensures that the renter is exempt from the damage caused to the rented vehicle, up to the upper limit, in case of unilateral accidents where there is no accident report while parked and/or cruising. The tenant is responsible for damages exceeding the upper limit. The upper limit (its scope varies according to the assurance package received) is 3.500.00 TL (VAT INCLUDED). It covers Tire-Glass-Headlight-Mirror, Liability Increasing Assurance, Personal Accident Assurance. For tire-glass-headlight-mirror damages, the lessee has the right to benefit for one damage to the rented vehicle during the rental period.
Maxi Damage Assurance : It ensures that the renter is exempt from the damage caused to the rented vehicle, up to the upper limit, in case of unilateral accidents where there is no accident report while parked and/or cruising. The tenant is responsible for damages exceeding the upper limit. The upper limit (its scope varies according to the assurance package received) is 5,000,00 TL (VAT INCLUDED). It covers Tire-Glass-Headlight-Mirror, Liability Increasing Assurance, Personal Accident Assurance. For tire-glass-headlight-mirror damages, the lessee has the right to benefit for one damage to the rented vehicle during the rental period.
Tire, Glass, Headlight (LCF) Assurance: Headlights, windshield, side mirrors and rear lights of the rented vehicle, based on the written statement of the driver, in case of unilateral accidents that do not have an accident report while parked and/or driving, in case of damage to the tire-glass-headlight-mirror of the rented vehicle. It is a damage insurance that covers the stop lamps. Assurance Upper Limit is limited to the upper limit determined within the Mini-Midi-Maxi Assurance system. (SCOPE VARY DEPENDING ON THE ASSURANCE PACKAGE RECEIVED) The tenant has the right to benefit for a single damage during the rental period for the damages of Tire-Glass-Headlight-Mirror.
Liability Increasing Assurance (LIS) : It is an assurance covering the damage limits for third parties within the scope of compulsory traffic insurance.
The tenant can benefit from the guarantees in case of any damage:
a) An accident report from the nearest competent authority to the place of the accident (such as the traffic police within the city limits, the local police station, the gendarmerie outside the city, etc.) stating the occurrence of the incident in detail, and the witness and address, similar documents and information, at the latest, to the lessor. It is obliged to deposit and notify within 48 hours.
b) If the tenant does not have an obstructive condition determined by a doctor's report, he must immediately notify the lessor of the accident. The tenant will not interfere with the damaged vehicle, but will take it under protection. Theft of certain things from the vehicle is under the responsibility of the tenant.
c) The renter is obliged to pay the damages exceeding the limits in case of accident or damage to third parties, even if it is revoked later. The lessee is responsible for the damages exceeding the amount collected from the insurance or the indemnities that the lessor has to pay through recourse. The moral demands of the accident victims and their relatives are met by the tenant. The lessor's right of recourse is reserved.
d) All guarantees are valid within the period determined in the lease agreement. If the lessor and the lessee have not agreed on an extension, the lessor disclaims all liability for any damage caused by the lessee, and only the lessee is liable.
e) The lessee is directly responsible for accidents caused by a driver who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs or who does not have a valid driver's license, and for accidents arising from or caused by the goods being transported.
f) The renter is responsible for all damages to the vehicle as a result of any accident. The lessor, who cannot benefit partially or at all from the insurance and assurance indemnity due to all kinds of acts and omissions that are not attributable to him, has the right to demand from the lessee for the compensation for the damage he has suffered and the loss of work of the vehicle. The vehicle's severance pay is invoiced to the lessee on the basis of the daily rental price over the current tariffs.
g) This contract is applied before all other contracts and protocols to be concluded between the lessor and the lessee. In cases where there is no provision in this contract, the other contract provisions become effective.
h) In order for the assurances to be valid, a traffic accident and alcohol report must be obtained without changing the location of the vehicle, the vehicle must not be completely faulty in the accident, the vehicle must not be used under the influence of alcohol, drugs or outside the speed limit, photographs showing the accident scene and the damaged condition of the vehicle must be taken. In order for the theft assurance to be valid, it is obligatory to issue a report by the police or gendarmerie. In case of accident or theft, the nearest EFCAR office or emergency telephone numbers must be notified.
ı) Damages arising from the use of windshield, side windows and/or headlight breakage, tire splitting are not covered by the insurance. Such expenses will be paid by the tenant even if the assurances are accepted. In addition to these, the tenant can secure the damage amount up to 650 TL-1000T by signing the "Acceptance" column on the front face and paying the additional SCDW fee in the current price tariff and benefit from the Exemption Liability guarantee for situations that may occur while parked and an accident report cannot be prepared.
Conditions of Use of the Rapid Transit System (HGS):
All our vehicles in our fleet have HGS. When your rental period expires, your HGS usage information reaches our offices and the toll fee is charged to your credit card. Since the collection process for the toll is dependent on the General Directorate of Highways, it is possible to collect later than the usual time. In case you pass through OGS toll booths with our HGS vehicles; You're making an illegal pass. The illegal toll (as in other traffic violations) is paid by EFCAR to the relevant government agencies, and the illegal toll (as in other traffic violations) is collected from the credit card presented during the rental process.
HGS cannot be used for crossings from Osmangazi and Yavuz Sultan Selim bridges, cash payment is required at the box office.
